An elevator trip in old panel 9th floor ussr house. Wall-buttonpress: elevator call. Elevator arrives, doors opens, i walk in. Anelevator trip up from lowest floor to highest. Recorded with zoom h2,4-mics mode, then filtered a bit and mixed manually.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

This is traffic outside my office on ventura boulevard, recorded in the lobby with the front door closed. The traffic is still fairly present, because there's a mail slot in the door which allows quite a bit of the sound through. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.

Recording from the balcony of my air bnb in venice, italy. You can hear doors opening, people walking, dogs barking, seagulls, a plane goes by, a person with a limp walks by, speech in italian and other ambient sounds through a reverberant street. There are no cars to pollute the soundscape.
